We are raising money to help cover the costs of the unexpected passing of Sri. Satheesan Peethambaran, father of Soumya Satheesan and Father-in-law of Renjith Senan in Calgary due to a brain hemorrhage on July 14, 2017. He was on visit visa to spend time with his daughter and her family.
We’ve created this GoFundMe fundraiser to cover the huge cost of transporting his body to reach his family in India for the final rites, funeral costs and the unexpected expenses that come with a sudden loss like this. We had to increase the Goal Amount to $19000 since we had a meeting with a funeral home and realized of an additional expense to buy the special casket, container and consulate fees to ship the non-cremated remains to India which would be around $4000 more.
We have arranged a viewing at Choice Memorial Cremation & Funeral Services (4715 13 St NE, Calgary, AB T2E 6M3)on July 22 Saturday 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm.
