The 2015 Satellite High Senior class is counting on you! Project Graduation is a drug and alcohol-free all night celebration for the 2015 graduating senior class of Satellite High School. It is a fun, safe way for all seniors to get together and have a good time on the night of graduation. Not only will keep them off the streets and possibly prevent a tragedy, but will also send a powerful message that their community cares about them. There will be many great give aways such as IPads, Laptops,TV's, Bicycles, Dorm Fridges, Gift Cards and many other useful items for our graduate's futures!
Project Graduation is an expensive undertaking that will be funded entirely by private donations from parents, individuals, and businesses in our community. Our goal is to raise at least $20,000 to put on the best event for our graduates. The event has grown each year, and the vast majority of graduates attend. Donations can be made to Satellite High Project Graduation and are tax deductible as allowed by law.
The parents and students have formed a 501(c) 3 corporation to put on the event. We are a separate organization from Satellite High School and the School Board. We do not receive any funding from the school or district’s budget. This event is dependent upon a strong partnership between business and community leaders, parents, law enforcement, and school officials for fundraising, volunteerism, and logistical support and is 100% donation and volunteer based. In order to help reach our goal, we greatly appreciate donations from the community. Any donation, great or small, will help to reach our goal to hold this function for our graduating seniors.
