The Sarver Family

John Aubrey Sarver II, age 42 of Bristol, Virginia passed away suddenly Friday, November 28th, 2014 while on a walk near his home. John shared his home, his heart, and his life with his wife, Stephanie Vaught Sarver. John was a loving involved father. He is survived by his two biological children, Hannah Elizabeth Sarver and John Aubrey Sarver III; and by his two step daughters Ashlyn Hager and Erin Hager.  John was a graduate of Milligan College. He touched many lives as a former United Methodist Pastor and currently worked as a broker at Oak Tree Annuities. John and his family worshipped at Highland Fellowship in Abingdon, VA where he was active in their youth ministry. John loved laughing, joking, drumming, sports, and winning most every game he played; above all he loved taking care of his family and cheering them on in their many activities. We will miss John’s constant sense of humor, his bad puns, his intelligence, hard work, hard play and above all his big, loving heart.
