Help Sarah Fight Metastatic Breast Cancer

Donation protected

Let us introduce you to our world.

In January 2024, Sarah, the heart and centre of our family received the devastating news that the breast cancer she had previously, successfully fought in 2021 was back, but with a vengeance. Recent scans show multiple cancerous lesions all along her spine and extensive spread within both her lungs. This is now classed as incurable, stage four, metastatic cancer.

The speed in which the cancer has grown from clear scans taken last March send a clear and concise message; We are in a dire battle against time.

When we found out that Sarah’s cancer had returned, we vowed to do all we could to attack this on every front, using every available resource. When there is this much at stake, you simply cannot do things by half. We want to explore every opportunity, every treatment modality that could fight this cancer and extend Sarah’s life.

But fighting a battle on multiple fronts is costly. The alternative treatments, such as hyperbaric oxygen therapy, IV infusions, infrared sauna, lifestyle changes and extensive supplement regimes have a price. Spending north of £800-£1000 a month on top of our usual expenses is not sustainable for us and we hate the idea that finances may make a difference between Sarah’s health and survival or not.

These treatments we hope will improve Sarah’s immune function and metabolic system, giving her body the best chance to fight back.

We are unsure how much time Sarah will be off work, or if she will ever be able to return. Adding to the financial concerns is the impending remortgage of our home in May and we worry about the extra pressure this will place on us.

Metastatic cancer is an ugly, ugly beast. Our two young sons, Gabriel (7) and Arthur (5) need and want their Mumma here, for as long as we can possibly keep her. We need to fight this beast to give them a chance to build the memories they so deserve to have with her.

Sarah is so beloved by her friends and family and is an integral part of the school where she works with reception age children who adore her. She is kind, compassionate and always thinking of others and our plea to you is to help this wonderful soul in the upcoming battles.

We understand with complete and utter conviction that now is the time to act on this. Which is why your support could make the difference, allowing us to invest in Sarah’s health and future and the future of our two beautiful children.
