On Thursday March 9th, Sarah Keenan, wife and mother of four, went home to the Lord after over a yearlong battle with a brain tumor. She leaves behind a loving husband James, and four kids: Lauren, Zachary, Brianna and Katelyn. As you can imagine, James and his four children are grieving the loss of Sarah, and taking one day at a time. In the days ahead, the Keenan family will be faced with many changes, costs and challenges. Please support my friend James and his family to help with the costs associated with travel, daily life, two memorial services (AK & AR) and PCS for military training in Florida. All of these life changes can be of high monetary cost and a challenge for a single parent. Any donation to this deserving family will help James, Lauren, Zachary, Brianna and Katelyn cope with the challenges that arise from the loss of Sarah and their future moving forward. Your support is greatly appreciated. Thank you and God Bless, Jason Knab

Today, the Keenan’s move forward and start the process of healing. On 9 March 2017 my wife and mother of 4 went home with the Lord. Sarah, has been released from her body as her spirit went to Jesus.
In tears while holding her hand, I started to pray aloud to the Lord for Sarah to go. Her body was quickly failing, and I knew it couldn’t last much longer. I was blessed to be able to sit with her as she went home. We were listening to one of Sarah’s favorite songs about healing and love. I was holding her hand and watched her draw her last breath before going.
There are so many emotions right now. If I could do anything though, I’d request you just a take a second and just lift your spouse or loved one up in prayer at this time. Sarah has gone home. Sarah used to pray for me as I have her through this entire process of pain, suffering, redemption, passion, and love.
I really can’t put my emotions to words right now. I don’t want to try bring disservice to Sarah attempting to state what is going on in the depths of my heart. Sarah made me make a few promises when she could still communicate with me. I plan to come through on those promises.
I certainly will not take for granted what she told me about moving on in love, the videos we made together for the kids, the locks of hair we preserved for them, or that fact that I know the last time she told me “ I Love You”.
I also can still feel on my lips, when we shared our last… kiss.

We will have a Life Celebration for Sarah at our local Church, The Crossing. This will be next Saturday the 18th just before lunch. We will also have an additional service in Rogers, Arkansas where Sarah and I met and married. This will be the following Saturday the 25th. Both services will probably be around 11am.
Thank you for the prayers, love, and support from all of you these past 14months.
