Sarah's Ballet Bucks!

Hi, my name is Sarah! I am 16 years old and live in Comox, Vancouver Island where I train in classical ballet several days a week. I have been dancing for 5 years and absolutely fell in love with this beautiful art form right away . I was so grateful to have attended my first summer program at the Royal Winnipeg Ballet last  summer, it opened my eyes even more and made me realize that this is what I want to do as a career. Since returning from Winnipeg I have been determined to continue this journey to pursuing ballet professionally. Being surrounded by like minded dancers who share the same goals is unbelievably inspiring. This year I was accepted to my dream school, Boston Ballet, for their summer program. The program is 5 weeks long in July and I would be dancing for 4-6 hours a day with some of my biggest role models in ballet. This is an incredible opportunity that has the potential to open so many doors for me.  I'm so thankful for the chance to have this experience but I need your help to make this a reality .  With tuition, residence cost, flights, pointe shoes and more, ballet summer intensives can get very costly. I'm lucky enough to have a part time job to help save my money and regular bottle drives along with chocolate bar selling and other hands on fundraising will also help in reaching this goal.
