Sarah Whitney Memorial Fund

On October 8th, 2018, Luna and Ellie Whitney, my 11 and 8 year old nieces lost their Mother, Sarah Whitney. Sarah was only 30 years old and struggled with her own demons, but loved her daughters "to the moon and back".
We hope that in lieu of gifts or flowers that friends and family will consider making a contribution to this memorial fund. This fund will be only used to further Luna and Ellie's educational opportunities.
We are a long way off from College expenses being a reality but any gift will help. Luna hopes to attend Veterinary School at UPEI and Ellie hopes to be a Dog trainer and a writer. We have 8-10 years to figure that out and this fund's goal is to make whatever educational aspirations they may have a reality. Majors and interests aside I am hoping we can find some good out of this tragic situation.
We would greatly appreciate any contribution to this memorial fund for Luna and Ellie's future school expenses.
***Update 1/28/19
We have decided to open a irrevocable trust named "The Luna A O Whitney and Eleanor I Whitney Trust" inorder to safely manage and safeguard the funds raised for Luna and Ellie in Sarah's memory. We still intend for this fund to benefit Luna and Ellie's ability to get an education, but the trust is officially a HEMS trust (Health education maintenance and support) , in order to have the ability to support their wellbeing anyway the Trustees see fit. The current trustee are Luna and Ellie's Grandmother and myself (their uncle).
