Sarah Davis' Medical Fund

In March of 2017, Sarah was diagnosed with Chiari malformation type 1. Chiari malformations are structural defects in the cerebellum, the part of the brain that controls balance. Sarah suffers from severe symptoms of dizziness and lightheadedness, nausea, and numbness caused by the malformation. After multiple visits and consultations with several doctors from Kaiser, UCSF, and Stanford, and no answers, the Davis' made a trip to the nation's leading Chiari specialist in Wisconsion. Since doctors don't know much about this condition, the journey to healing has been a long and difficult one. The specialist in Wisconsin has concuded that the next step in Sarah's healing process is a brain decompression surgery. We are hoping that the surgery will be succesful in releaving pressure on the brain and restoring cerebral spinal fluid flow, thus alleviating most of Sarah's prominent symptoms. The surgery is scheduled for December 28th and the money we are hoping to raise will cover the surgery itself, as well as trasportation and hotel costs for the Davis', as they will have to stay in Wisconsin for a few weeks after the surgery to ensure that Sarah is recovering properly. On behalf of the Davis', your financial support, as well as prayers and encouraging words, are so appreciated.
