Sarah's Colombia Outreach and CELTA

Dear friends,
Thanks to your support I was able to join a three-week outreach in Cartagena and Medellín with Iris Ministries! Iris is the missions organization I went with to Mozambique and Nepal, for Harvest School 18. Thanks to Iris connections I made at HS18, I had the opportunity to join a Harvest School 20 outreach trip. We saw God do some amazing things on the trip! Countless people gave their lives to Jesus, were physically healed, were filled with the Holy Spirit or were built up in their walk with God. From September 8 to October 3 I took the CELTA course in Bogotá, the capital of Colombia. The CELTA (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults) was developed by the University of Cambridge and is widely recognized as one of the best qualifications for teachers of English as a foreign language. It was an intense course, and I learned so much and grew professionally as a teacher. Click here to read my blog about CELTA course.
Now I am teaching English at an institute called Wall Street English. My costs of living are covered by my salary but I still have some outstanding costs from my CELTA tuition and my flights. Anything you feel led to give will go towards paying off these costs. Your prayers and support are truly a blessing to me and a continuing reminder of what a trustworthy God we serve. It's a privilege to be here as an extension of my friends and supporters back home!
