Sara and Petal

I have had the pleasure of knowing Sara for over 30 years. She is one of the kindest and most genuine people you will meet. Last year she was diagnosed with the most aggressive form of breast cancer and subsequently had an operation followed by 4 sessions of chemotherapy which has left her very unwell.  Her double mastectomy had to be postponed as she swabbed positive for covid 19. In amongst all this petal had a displaced gut and was given a 10% survival rate. It was because of this pony that Sara found out she had cancer. Against all odds she pulled through and was doing well until some unknown person(s) were seen feeding her over the fence. This triggered an even worse bout of colic and months later she isn't recovered. The stress and upset this has caused has been huge but all Sara has cared about is getting petal through this alongside some wonderful people at her yard. Unfortunately she now has a huge vet bill to pay which is still going up and I would love for her to get some of the help back she's offered people over the years. This terrible situation could happen to any of us horse owners. Thankyou
