Teacher Training for Sara and Gabriel

They say it takes a village to raise a child. Earthaven Ecovillage is committed to nurturing a new generation of leaders with open hearts and capable hands, prepared to meet the challenges of the modern world with grace, competence, and resilience. We need well-trained teachers and mentors to manifest this vision for the children. We ask you to support this effort by investing in teacher training for two precious individuals dedicated to guiding the young child.

Donate today to help send Sara Carter and Gabriel Vieira to the 10-day Foundations Course of the Forest Kindergarten Teacher Training  in Bishop, CA hosted by the world renowned instructors at the Academy of Forest Kindergarten Teachers. This course offers a foundational understanding of early childhood development which will support them in creating curriculum that is appropriate for each child’s age and stage. Once the Foundations Course is completed, they will be eligible for Level 2- The Metamorphic Course, which we are raising funds for as well.

Each of these levels costs $1850 per person. Travel, food, and lodging are additional, so we are raising $5000 per level to cover all related costs. The parents and so many others at Earthaven dedicate their time and financial resources to educating the children in and around Earthaven. We are broadening our community-supported education initiative to include you and others who want to see our ecovillage thrive and set the next generation up for success.
