Santos family fire
Donation protected
Our house caught fire and we have lost most of our clothes furniture beds , baby’s crib, toys, kitchen items , baby feeding utensils etc.
Most of our electronics are a write off and we have to start Re-building again.
We thought our insurance company covered everything but alas we are finding this out the hard way.
In addition we’ve had to hire a lawyer to help us with dealing with insurance company which means more fees and expenses out of our pockets.
Im on maternity leave and that makes matters worse as I don’t have enough credit or money to buy the toys that my daughter lost in the fire.
im only using two pairs of clothes interchangeably and luckily am biding by with some clothes and blankets given by friends and neighbours.
I cry cry as I have to start all over again with Re-building our house and it’s impossible to replace all our items at the pace we are going since we are already incurring expenses our of our pocket with furniture shopping and window replacement financing and at the end of our ordeal we still have to pay the lawyer to help us get our contents replaced. So at the end of all of this we have no way of covering all these unexpected expenses.
We we would appreciate any clothes especially baby clothes , Baby toys such as a walker, and kitchen items such as knives pans utensils
Any items of donation would be greatly appreciated
Also a baby sitter if anyone knows of one.
