Santino's AVM Recovery
Donation protected
Santino was 25 when he had his brain injury. He was fit and healthy, he ate healthy, went to the gym daily and worked a full time job. He woke up on the 28th of January feeling fine and went out shopping, when Santino stepped out of the car he couldn't feel his right leg. He managed to make it home where an ambulance was called and he was blue lighted in to hospital. He had a severe brain haemorrhage caused by an arterial venous malformation (AVM) he never knew he had.
That was just over 5 years ago and he is still recovering. Santino has a young family. I was pregnant with our son at the time Santino fell ill. He has good movement in his left side but very limited movement in his right side. He cannot speak. His funding does not cover all his therapy So my aim is raise funds to help cover his private Physio. I will be running the Birmingham half marathon on October the 15th for Santino.
thank you for taking the time to read Santinos story and for continuing to support him.
thank you from Santino, myself and our family. Xxx
