Santa Monica Playhouse Needs Your Help!

Chris DeCarlo & Evelyn Rudie on behalf of the Santa Monica Playhouse desperately NEED your help!!! Just shy of the 60 year anniversary, they are at risk of shutting their doors given everything that is going on. We've reached out to you as you have all been impacted in some positive way by the Santa Monica Playhouse and specifically Chris and Evelyn or by arts in general!
More than the playhouse, Chris and Evelyn have given us hopes, dreams, laughter, sharing, connection through their thousands of shows and educational workshops and tireless work and endless love. Chris and Evelyn have given their lives to the playhouse in keeping arts alive and it's now our turn to have their back!
We humbly ask if you've ever been touched in any way by the playhouse, Chris and/or Evelyn to donate ASAP between $25 - $500 (or more), based on your means and ability, to shelter the playhouse from this storm until the end of May! We are all in this together!
In a world that's limited only by our empathy and imagination, the playhouse is needed more than ever.
When this is all over, there will be much needed rebuilding and healing to be done. We will need Chris and Evelyn and the Playhouse more than we ever have!!!
About Santa Monica Playhouse
Santa Monica Playhouse® is a 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit professional intimate theatre and educational conservatory concentrating its efforts in three areas: 1) the creation of superior and exciting theatre, 2) the maintenance of an educational conservatory program, and 3) the sharing of the magic of live theatre through community outreach in theatrical and educational settings. Through our commitment to these three principles we strive to originate exceptional, innovative, consequential theatrical experiences that are essential to the health and evolution of individuals and their local, national, and global communities.
The SMP has touched over 5 million lives! SMP led by Chris & Evelyn have given a much needed home and platform for artists voice and expression and provided arts education for all ages.
