Sanhgar Chak No 7 Pakistan Flood Fund Raiser

As we are all aware of the tragedy surrounding Pakistan, just a few facts:

More than 267,000 homes have been partially or entirely destroyed.

One thousand thirty-three deaths ( including 348 Children and 207 women across the country, according to NDMA.

It has been so encouraging to see all the humanitarian efforts around the world clubbing together to help this beautiful country at this devastating time.

Coming from Pakistani Heritage, it’s no surprise that these devastating floods have hit my family, and I wanted to do something about it. I am embarking on a 5k trek to Lulworth Cove & Durdle Door on the 17th of September; now, that doesn’t sound like very much; however, I am not the fittest person, nor have I ever done a trek in my life before. I am also not a morning person, so getting on a coach at 6.20 am is going to be fun :) . Long story short, I wanted to turn this lovely walk into something even more meaningful as it is not about me; this is for my Uncles, my Aunts and cousins. The images are of my family and their homes, my Grandparents’ home, my Mother’s home growing up, and the place my children have visited and been shown so much love.

The money raised will buy food supplies and necessities to aid those affected.
