Sandy's COVID Recovery Assistance Fund

Our beautiful Mom Sandy needs help.  In April of this year after 35 years of service as a house manager for a local wealthy family, she was abruptly terminated under the guise of the Corona Virus, (she was not sick at this time).  This is a family she loved as her own.  This is a family that told her many-many times that she would be "taken care of" when the time to retire came about. This is an extremely wealthy family that cast her aside as if she were nothing. Sandy is 74 and well past time of retirement.  She decided to look elsewhere for employment opportunities, but as you might imagine in the current environment she was unable to find work.  In July, Sandy became very ill and was diagnosed with COVID.  She is now in a rehab wing of Delray Medical Center fighting the long-haul affects of this disease.  We need to bring Sandy home; she is very depressed and anxious.  A wonderful, independent and proud woman who brightens the day of all who know her, now desperately needs the assistance of others.  Sandy will require 24 hour care once she returns home.  She is too weak to do anything on her own at this time. Unfortunately, her son and daughter-in-law are unable to care for her as he was in a motorcycle accident in May; still recovering at home with a surgery left to go and medical financial restraints.
