Sandi's Fight - Stage IV Cancer
Donation protected
This is one of the hardest things that I've had to write. As many of you may know, my sister Sandi Eustice has been battling Colon Cancer. Just when we thought she had it beat, a small mass has returned and has been identified as being cancerous.
After many consults with Surgeons, Oncologists and a panel of doctors, she finally had a biopsy performed. She has been diagnosed with Stage IV Colon Cancer and will soon begin another round of very aggressive chemotherapy. The mass is in a very precarious location and the doctors hope that the chemotherapy will shrink the mass enough to operate.
As with her first round of chemo, this will require money that she and her family just don't have. Each session requires a copay and the bills are already starting to add up. The financial stress is something that we are hoping to alleviate by starting this effort. If there is any way you might be able to pitch in, I know that she would be eternally grateful. (Prayers are a welcome necessity at this time, as well)
Many heartfelt thanks in advance. Your love and support mean the world to us.
Sincerely,
Eric Mafnas
