Sandfly Oaks Business Owners Fire Relief Fund

Let’s help our neighbors and Sandfly business owners affected by that recent fire.  On the morning of Tuesday, September 8, 2020 around 6AM a fire was called into Chatham Emergency Services. The fire was in the 8500 block of Ferguson Ave in Sandfly in a shopping center known as Sandfly Oaks.  There is no word yet on a cause or where the fire started due to its intensity when firefighters arrived.

The fire is now out and the damage is done and emotions and stress is high for those involved. The good news is No injuries were reported but many businesses and business owners are affected by this fire. Some of the businesses that have lost everything include but are not limited to What’s for Dinner, Nonstop Fitness, Savannah Bridge Club, Sandfly Antiques, Audio Video Professionals, Doris Martin Dance Studio (fund organizers spouse), and a few more. 

The money raised in this fund will go to help all of the business owners at this location that were affected.  The money will be divided equally amongst all effected businesses.
