New Home for Rescued Farmed Animals
Donation protected
Sanctuary at Soledad is a vegan farmed animal rescue and sanctuary operating in Southern CA. We are home to over 200 rescued animals and have recently been given the opportunity to expand to Northern Florida. A whole new world has opened for us, having the ability to rescue animals in Florida, the Southern part of Georgia and Alabama, plus having a Compassion Camp open to children and adults with disabilities, to be able to spend time with farmed animals that need and want love and are able to return the care and compassion they receive. There are several buildings on the land that can be converted to dormitories and general communal areas for meditation, yoga or whatever the counsulors would want. The rest of the buildings would be for the animals. There is pasture and woodlands and the perfect setting for the rehabilitation for both animals and people alike.
This will all happen in stages. The initial amount of money that we are asking for is to secure the property and start getting the barns ready for incoming animals.
There are also investment opportunities and we will need creative and forward thinking board members and volunteers for this venture. We can also form a syndicate if enough people are interested. We need to think about the future.
This is a life commitment, a dream that is so close. With your help we can all make this dream come true.
We would like the first level to be started by the end of May.
