San Bruno PD Officer Needs Help

Donation protected
This campaign is being organized for San Bruno Police Officer Justin Milander, who was recently diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma at the age of 22.  Justin was born to his parents Mike and DeeDee and raised in Vacaville, California with his older brother Mark.  Justin graduated from Vacaville High School in 2014, where he played football, basketball, and baseball.  Justin joined the San Bruno Police Department in February 2017 after graduating from the Napa Valley College Police Academy in December 2016.

As a result of his cancer diagnosis, Justin is currently undergoing chemotherapy and is now unable to work.  Within the next few weeks, Justin's paid time off will run out and his Long Term Disability insurance will only cover a portion of his income while he is receiving treatment.

This campaign is being set up to supplement Justin's income while he is receiving treatment and he is unable to work.  While insurance will cover most of his medical expenses, these funds will also be used to help pay for any unexpected medical costs that arise.  Our goal of $20,000 was calculated based on the extra income needed to supplement the partial income he will be receiving from disability insurance over the next 6-8 months that he may be undergoing treatment.

Justin wanted to become a Police Officer to help those who couldn't help themselves.

Please share this campaign and contribute anything you can to help Justin out - every little bit helps.

This campaign was set up by the San Bruno Police Association, a non-profit organization.
