Sam'n'Shan Flood Relief

Hi folks, I hate to ask this of my friends and family when there are so many other worthy causes to financially support, but this one hits pretty close to home.
My brother Sam and his family are currently the victims of a massive food in southern Ontario. Due to rainfall and a dam releasing without warning, the Grand River rose to levels that haven't been seen since the 70's.
My brother's 150 year old farmhouse and surrounding property is submerged. They had very little time to react to the rising water. Their basement, with a height of 6 feet, filled with water to just below the first floor floor boards in under 3 hours. They managed to cut out the furnace and haul it up and out of harms way before they had to be rescued. And to top it all off... Insurance won't cover anything from their flood because they sit too close to the river - there is also more rain in the forecast. I can't imagine what they've lost.
But what I CAN do is plead with my friends, with anyone who knows my family, with anyone who has had friends or family go through this, to please help me raise a few bucks to send home to cover some of their cleanup costs.
