My Dear friends and Family,
I am a proud mother who is trying my hardest to allow her daughter the opportunity to live out her dream. My 11 year old daughter, Samaura lives and breathes to do one thing, DANCE! She's been selected to participate in a once-in-a-lifetime dance conference at Disneyland in July of 2019. I work two jobs and do volunteer work for the dance company, in order to be able to afford to keep her doing what she loves. As a single parent, it pains me to not be able to send her to California due to the fact that I cannot afford it. As you can imagine, I do not want to see my child suffer because of circumstances that are beyond her control.
She has been canvassing and asking for recyclables to achieve her goal, but winter is upon us, soon it will be too cold. She’s been working extremely hard trying to collect her money to go on this trip, all the while achieving excellent marks in school. She dances at the school over ten hours per week and around the house any chance she gets.
I’m reaching out to you in the hopes that you might be willing to donate some of your bottles. We are a very proud family and I’ve taught my kids to work hard for what they get in life, which they do. I'm also trying to teach them that it's alright to ask for help from time to time. Sammy is trying so hard and I’m afraid, without some extra help from generous people like yourselves, this chance that she has might slip through her fingers. I am humbly asking that you consider helping her achieve this lifelong dream, we would be forever grateful!
