Sammy's Cancer Fund

Our best friend Sammy DeDios has been diagnosed with Stage 4 colon & liver cancer. The tumors are too large to be removed so surgery is not possible at this time. The doctor's plan is to shrink them with a series of chemotherapy treatments hoping this will shrink them enough for surgery, making it possible for the tumors to be removed. Before doing surgery he will also have to become much stronger. The treatments are really really hard on his body making him very sick with NO appetite whatsoever. He has lost so much weight and is very very weak.  Sammy can pretty much only stomach meal replacement shakes which are very  expensive. If all of the above goes as planned, the team of doctors still say he only has about 2 1/2 years to live. He and his family  refuse to accept this without exploring alternative methods. With this money Sammy will be able to pursue another path of cancer treatment that his insurance will not cover.  This funding for Sammy is extremely urgent and we appreciate anything you can give. In the future, we would like him to be able to share his story as a cancer survivor.
