Sammi O'Barton's medical fund

As you may know, Sammi was in a serious car accident  on October 10th.  While attempting to cross a lane of traffic at the interestion of Routes 152 and 125, Sammi's vehicle was t-boned and the jaws of life were required to extract her from her vehicle. 

Sammi sustained numerous and very painful injuries, including a broken pelvis, tailbone, collarbone and ribs, along with a bruised lung and a contusion on her heart.  Sammi was in the Portsmouth Hospital from October 10 through October 13, 2017 when she was transported to Northeast Rehab Hospital.  Her exact discharge date is not known and Sammi will have continued PT and OT services when she is discharged.  Sammi will not be able to work for some weeks while her injuries heal.  Her new car was totaled and she will be looking at very high medical bills as a result of this accident.  Sammi's maximum out-of-pocket costs (per her insurance company) is over $5,000, that does not include medications, modifications to the home to make it safe for Sammi while she is healing, obtaining another vehicle when she is healed and heading back to work as well as other ongoing monthly bills such as rent, utilities, etc.
