Sam Hill Tough-Medical Fund

Many of you are already aware of the health issues , Sam Hill, has been dealing with for a little over a month. We are good friends of his beautiful mother, Melissa. She is unaware that we are starting this go fund me account. If you know her like we do, you know she is a prideful woman. She does not want pity but we all know this family needs support. So far,  the outpouring of love, prayers, cards and gifts have been so incredible to watch. In chatting privately with Melissa,  it became evident to us, that while all of those things are enough for her and the rest of the family, the stress of how she and Sam’s dad Tom will be able to deal with the financial implications that the road ahead of them has been constantly on their minds. No parent should ever have to deal with the added stress of money, when the stress of having a sick child is heavy enough. In times like these, we all feel the urge to help but often don't know how.  The medical bills are beginning  to come with no end in sight, time off with our pay, medications, travel expenses are becoming overwhelming and will only continue in the coming months and possibly years. It's become very clear to Melissa and Tom that their beautiful boy will inevitably be receiving a liver transplant because of the damage Wilsons Disease has already caused. This  will continue to result in missed days of work for both parents, medical bills from multiple tests, procedures,  medications, surgeries and possibly extended stays in the hospital. They need our help. Even if you can only give 5 dollars, it's 5 dollars less they'll need to stress over. Thank you! Alyssa & Lauren
