Dear family and friends
On Dec 27,2017 I loss my beautiful daughter Samantha to a fatal car accident and she went to be with our Lord. My world was shattered and changed forever. With pain and sadness we laid her to rest on Jan 3,2018. As difficult as it is to lose my daughter at such a young age of 18, I can say with my whole heart that Samantha lived a full life and that she fulfilled her purpose here on Earth. Samantha was an advocate for equal rights, animal rights (which we have donated her last paycheck to the Humane Society of SA in her memory) , and did not place judgements on those she came into contact with. Like a sunflower, she was big and bold, she was resilient, vivacious, she knew her roots, and she always stood out in a room. I thank the Lord for choosing me to be her mother and for giving me the honor of raising her beautiful soul. I am so proud of my baby girl.
My heart yearns for one more chance to give my Samantha one more hug or just to hold her one last time; however, reality tells me I cannot do that. But what I can do is to give her a memorial that she would be proud to have sitting atop her final place of rest. I am not one to ask for help or to ask for donations; however, with this unexpected loss also comes unexpected expenses. I am here, humbly asking for your help to raise money so that we can purchase a headstone for Samantha. The cost of the headstone is approximately $4,000 and I pray that you can find it in your heart to give a donation to Samantha’s GoFundMe page.
I want to finish by saying thank you to all of you all from the bottom of my heart for visiting this GoFundMe page and for your continued support as I cope with the loss of my beloved Samantha Lorain. This has not been easy and I know I have many rough days ahead. It is with your continued prayers and support that my family and I will overcome this pain in time, but for now, please help with what you can so we can give Samantha the proper headstone she deserves.
