Samantha's ACDA National Honor Choir Fund

I’m excited to announce that I made it into the 2019 American Choral Directors Association (ACDA) National Honor Choir! This is a life-changing experience, so I’m asking for your help to send me there.
The ACDA has been around for 60 years. Thousands of students apply each year, from across the nation, hoping to be selected for this honor choir. I am one of only eight singers chosen from my high school choir of 200 to participate in this event, which is a huge honor! Attending this event means I will be taught by master conductors and perform choral music at the very highest level. I’ll get to spend five days in Kansas City, Missouri (from Feb. 27th to Mar. 3rd) with some of the most talented singers in the nation. I’ll also get to learn challenging music, make new friends, and perform on the last day of the conference. I love to sing, which is why I am elated that they chose me to be a part of this outstanding event.
What's not so exciting is the fact that this trip isn’t sponsored by my school - so the school won’t be funding any of it, nor providing chaperones. The trip costs around $2,000 and I would greatly appreciate any donation towards this cost that you can give. The money raised will be used to cover trip related expenses (airline tickets, hotel expenses, food, etc.) for my mom and myself. I'm hoping to secure all funds before we leave on February 27th.
