Mi chiamo Claudia Lopes e ho creato questa campagna per raccogliere dei fondi per Lua, una cagnolina bellissima di soltanto 10 mesi. Lua ha una gravissima malattia congenita chiamata stenosi polmonare. Ieri l’abbiamo portata a fare un controllo dal veterinario, poiché la settimana scorsa Lua è svenuta mentre giocava con un’altra cagnolina, amichetta sua. Purtroppo abbiamo saputo che se lei non si sottoporrà ad un intervento chirurgico per correggere questo difetto (introdurranno un palloncino di dilatazione nella vena difettosa), non solo non avrà più qualità di vita, perché non si può affaticare, ma morirà in 1, massimo 2 due anni.
Noi viviamo in Svizzera e l’ospedale dove dovrà fare l’intervento è pubblico ma si paga, e l’operazione ci verrà a costare circa CHF 4.500, anche di più. Il fatto è che noi non abbiamo questi soldi e non sappiamo cosa fare; il senso di impotenza è molto. La chirurgia si svolgerà il 18 giugno, alle 8:30, presso il Tierspital, Zurigo.
Lua è molto importante per noi, per la nostra famiglia, per cui chiediamo il vostro aiuto, qualsiasi donazione sarà benvenuta e ci aiuterà tantissimo. Qualora le donazioni siano di più di quello che spenderemo, daremo il restante in donazione a un’associazione per difesa degli animali.

Dear friends,
My name is Claudia Lopes and I created this campaign to raise funds for Lua, a beautiful dog of only 10 months old. Lua has a very serious congenital disease called pulmonary stenosis. Yesterday we took her to have a check-up at the vet, since Lua passed out while playing with another dog, her little friend, last week. Unfortunately we have known that if she does not undergo surgery to correct this defect (they will introduce an expansion balloon into the defective vein), not only will she no longer have quality of life, because she cannot be fatigued, but also she will die in 1, maximum 2 two years.
We live in Switzerland and the hospital where the surgery will be performed public ones, but we have to pay, and the operation will cost us around CHF 4,500, even more. The fact is that we don't have this money and we don't know what to do; the sense of helplessness is huge. The surgery will take place on June 18, at 8:30 am, at Tierspital, Zurich.
Lua is very important to our family, so we ask for your help, any donation will be welcome and will help us a lot. If the donations are more than what we will spend with her surgery and hospital costs, we will give the rest in donation to an association for the defense of animals.
