Saintey Family Fire Fund
Donation protected
On the morning of July 24th, the Saintey's town home unit was struck by lightning. Thankfully, the family was awakened by a passerby pounding on the door to alert them that thier connecting neighbor's house was on fire. Fortunately, no one was injured! At this time there is extensive smoke damage and a lengthy time frame for the Saintey family to move back into thier home. Currently, they are staying with family while battling the insurance company to replace items vs. cleaning the items in thier home with chemicals. Ricky and Chelsie's oldest son Owen (7), has asthma and there are extensive costs to replace items like furniture and carpet that the insurance company sees fit. If you would like to help support them through this challenging time we would appreciate any help you can give to make this process more comfortable on the family.
Ricky was named the ISD 917 Teacher of the Year not only because he is an excellent Phy Ed./DAPE teacher, but also because he is a wonderful person who brightens the day of everyone around him. Alliance Education Center is pulling together to help support the Saintey family who has also been a long time staple in the Rosemount community.
