Saint Barbara Grotto & Gardens

Hi my name is Tim. I've spent the last two years helping my friend Peggy build a grotto and gardens for Saint Barbara, Patron Saint of Miners. We both live in a tiny town (286 people) in central Nevada called Goldfield. It was once the largest town in Nevada and considerred "The Worlds Greatest Gold Camp".

Peggy has been working on this project for over 20 years. The grotto, a rebar chapel, and grape arbor with the "stations of the cross" have already been completed! Funds are needed to complete the pond/waterfall and purchase perimeter fencing, weed barrier, and decorative gravel. We are also in need of some chapel pews (used ones will work) and an artist who can create a miners-themed stained glass window (or something similar) for the rebar chapel.

I admire my friend Peggy's devotion to this project and want to help her. I also feel it could be something that could draw visitors to our tiny town. Hope you will support this little project.
