Sailing to Heal: Send Boo to Croatia with other MS Survivors
After spending his adult life living a happy version of the American Dream, Boo Barksdale was diagnosed with MS at the age of 57 in 2014. Rather than deterring him, this new challenge came to inspire self-reflection, growth and healing on many levels.
Over the years since his diagnosis, Boo has researched and invested in his healing journey through adjunctive therapies including acupuncture, light therapy, massage, the Coimbra Protocol, and meditation among other practices.
As the next step on his healing journey, Boo is building courage, confidence and community by bravely applying to and being chosen as a mate on the May, 2018 Croatian Oceans of Hope sailing team comprised of people who like him live with MS. To complete this journey, he needs your help!
Boo has already paid all registration costs, and secured a new passport! Through this fundraising effort, Boo seeks YOUR support in funding his travel expenses related to this transformational once in a lifetime trip.
By donating toward these travel expenses, you will not only be allowing Boo to experience this empowering step on his journey, you will be giving the gift of Boo-ness to all the other travelers on the Oceans of Hope MS Croatia trip.
