This is the story of a woman who struggled to leave a dangerous domestic situation, and these are the women I want to help. I want to be a sister to her: provide a bed, a hot cup of coffee, a listening ear, and space to recover.
My dream is to raise funds to rent and equip a 3bdrm/2bath home to provide a place where our sisters, aunties, daughters, mothers, and nieces can feel safe. If I can sign a lease for December, it will be an amazing way to spend Christmas and launch into a hopeful new year.
