Dream A Little Dream

Future is something we all think about, foresee and dream about. Having children may shift your views but you still have goals in mind. Now for your family instead of just yourself. For my family  we always knew we wanted to purchase land to homestead. When we settled on Northern Maine it was all coming together. We had planned, saved and gotten our gear in check. We had completely outfitted our 5th wheel camper to be our all season home down to the retrofitted wood stove. In the process of having it trailered to our property it was significantly damaged. The driver went underneath an overpass too low for the trailer which resulted in the ac unit being torn off, puncturing holes all throughout the roof causing it to cave in in numerous places and weakening the integrity of the rear walls. Which has effectively rendered it uninhabitable, resulting in no home for my children at the present. We are desperately trying to repair it in time but we are running of time with Winter weather quickly approaching. With all of the other responsibilities the land requires to be snow-ready it is a difficult task for just one person to carry out as my husband and I are on our own here. I am currently with our children, ages 2 and 9 months, in a nearby hotel. We have emergency savings but it is quickly depleting. We have tried speaking with the wrecker company to get aid from their mistake but the owner will not return my calls. We can not get the driver to divulge were the accident actually took place to obtain a copy of an accident report. Shortly after we found out the driver was not a CDL insured driver. We are trying to work with an attorney but those proceedings take a lot of time and money. Both of which we are short on. Any aid that can be provided is greatly appreciated.
