Sadaqah Jariyah for Marhoom Hafiz Salim Master

In honour of Marhoom Hafiz Salim Master of Burrow Rd, Preston, his family and close friends have decided to start a GoFundMe page to help build a Masjid in India, in order to grant him Sadaqah Jariyah and to increase his rewards after his return to the Creator.
Hafiz Salim Master peacefully returned to Allah ﷻ at the young age of 50. He was a beloved father, son, husband, brother and uncle as well as being an irreplaceable member of many communities across the UK.
He will be remembered by family as an enormously caring and loving gentleman who brightened our rooms every time he walked in. He prioritised Islam above all else, followed by his three boys who never stopped feeling his love and affection.
A teacher, leader, role-model, and friend; Hafiz Salim Master was a pillar for his community, and a helping hand for many other communities. He spent 30 years of his life, until his final days, in the service of the Religion, teaching primarily at Madrasah Noor-e-Raza, as well as Iqra Education Centre, Masjid-e-Raza in Lancaster, and several others. Additionally, he delivered speeches and helped Masjids with Jumu’ah and Imaamat when required, with Masjid-e-Aqsa being the most recent.
One of the most beneficial tasks he undertook was organising a separate Taraweeh in Ramadhan for Hifz Class students, providing them with necessary experience and confidence before they lead Taraweeh in main Masjid’s. Many of the current Huffaz, currently leading Taraweeh successfully, both locally and globally, are a result of the hard work and dedication of Hafiz Salim Master. Being a Hafiz himself, he could have led Taraweeh wherever he desired, however, he decided to focus his efforts on the development of the next generation, which was the motto of his entire life.
Numerous other things can be mentioned about the great Hafiz Salim, but this will become too lengthy. To summarise, over the last few days, it was revealed that many people thought Hafiz Salim was their best friend and the closest to them, showing that he kept great ties with everyone he met, regardless of their age and background. He respected the elderly and showed love to the young. Humbly solving the problems of the community without asking for reward was his life mission. Undoubtedly, a hidden gem was amongst us, who’s departure has left a whole community in sorrow.
All proceeds are for Sadaqah Jariyah with the primary aim of building a Masjid for those in need, as well as potentially supporting young orphans in devastated communities and other forms of Sadaqah. This form of charity provides benefit to both the giver and the receiver for many years. If you can spare any small amount of money, please do. Please also pray for our beloved Marhoom Hafiz Salim and all those we have lost during this difficult time.
