Hello, friends!
My name is Hannah Grace Nichols (artist name Hannah Grace). I am a dancer and dance maker living in London having just completed my master’s degree in dance performance at London Contemporary Dance School in January.
Having now finished my dissertation, examining how patriarchal systems deteriorate the natural cyclical functions of the female body, I am creating a piece of choreography that speaks to my research and my own personal experience of coming home to my body. This duet, This Is Not My Skin, will be the fourth installment of a larger body of work, consisting of dance films and staged performance, titled SACRED AWAKENING. This piece will premiere 7 June 2022 at Resolution Festival hosted at The Place in London.
To help bring this project to life, I humbly ask for your financial support to pay our team of collaborators.
Each donation will go towards supporting an independent artist. Any amount is welcomed and appreciated as we reach these goals in accordance with UK’s Equity rates for properly compensating those involved.
