As you know we have recently gotten engaged. We have been blessed with many things in our lives which we are so grateful for. Rather than our friends and family spending money on us, we would rather you donate that money to a great cause.
We have always wanted to find a way to give back to our wonderful homeland of Sri Lanka, and what better way than raising $5000 to help build a classroom to allow children access to education, a basic human right.
Kindhearted Lankans is an Australian based organisation that does a variety of charitable work in Sri Lanka. 100% of the donations they receive goes toward some amazing projects, which you can see via the link below and their social media. They have no race, no religion, no political views. Their work focuses purely on making a lasting difference. It's a hand up, not a hand out. Most people just want the chance to get themselves to a better place. We want to help them to help themselves.
Before we get married in Sri Lanka next year, we are aiming to go over and visit the classroom and help with any future projects. Your donations (no matter how big or small) are greatly appreciated and we thank you for helping provide a brighter future for children through access to education.
