Sabra Moore and Roger Mignon: Medical Crisis SOS

Sabra Moore and Roger Mignon are each, and together, in a serious health crisis: Sabra has had a stroke that has left her, at least currently, unable to drive or use a phone or computer, and Roger has been diagnosed with advanced lymphatic cancer and started treatments. They are both at home and could really use our help.
In New York City, where they lived many years, and in Abiquiú, New Mexico, where they live now, the two of them have given profoundly to their communities, from raising the visibility of women and minority artists to tireless and generous service to a library board, art in the schools, community art shows, and the Española Farmer’s Market (this year awarded best in the state).
Any of us who have spent time with Sabra and Roger carry their good deeds and selfless efforts in our hearts. We would not be seeking financial support for Sabra and Roger in this already fraught time of pandemic unless the need was serious, and it is.
Your gift to this fundraiser will help with their medical costs, repair of their old pickup truck, and life support in their vulnerable situation. Our gifts together can also let them hire helpers for household chores and to haul food and water up to their mesa home and for getting back and forth to the doctor/hospital for outpatient care.
Always they have included us—friends, farmers, and other artists—in their projects, so, please, let’s include them in this impossible time. We can make this situation easier for our two friends, two great souls.
