After experiencing pain and limited movement in his leg, Logan was diagnosed with the rare form of bone cancer known as Ewing’s Sarcoma. With fewer than 200 cases of this cancer arising a year, Logan is lucky to have doctors familiar with the disease caring for him at The Duke University Cancer Center in Durham NC. He has started the grueling treatments prescribed, and will be enduring an intense series of chemo and radiation treatments for many months. He is on medical leave from his studies at UNC Chapel Hill, is unable to continue his job as a waiter, and faces substantial financial and personal challenges. The good news is that it appears the cancer has not spread, giving him and his family welcome hope for a good outcome.
Please support Logan in any way you can on this GoFundMe page. Any amount will be appreciated and will help him worry less about the financial burden of his disease, so he can focus more on staying strong and getting well. Logan is a member of First Presbyterian Church in Rocky Mount, NC, so prayers are also welcome. There is no doubt that Logan and his family will appreciate all donations, prayers and well wishes, and will return the support to others in the future.
