We were hoping it wouldn't have to come to this.
Nick was involved in a hit-and-run accident on 9/24 at Orange Camp & MLK Blvd in Orange City, FL while on his way to OB's bike night.
After seeing a specialist for his injuries, it was made clear that Nick is going to need surgery on his left arm. Due to the fact that he has no medical insurance, and already having been in the hospital for these injuries, the bills are starting to add up. Also, since Nick fractured both of his arms, he is unable to take on jobs and therefore can't make any money to cover these expenses.
The thought of this heartless person leaving my boyfriend for dead on the side of the road sickens me. Nick is a great guy, and as many of you know, he is always willing to lend a helping hand to friends and family. And at just shy of being 2 years alcohol-free, he has already faced an uphill battle that further debt would only add to.
So, we are creating a Go Fund Me to help alleviate the financial stress and burden this accident has caused. He is still in a lot of pain, and even after surgery there's a possibility of needing rehabilitation, to regain full range of motion in his dominant hand.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
