The Big Jump 2019

In 2011, I was diagnosed with glaucoma, and very rapidly my sight started to fail. Following many bouts of depression and anxiety, it is with the help of the RNIB that I have gained my confidence and self-worth back. Now it is time for me to give back to the people who have supported me in various ways and to raise funds to support others that are currently facing what I have faced in the past.
Me being me, to prove to myself and to others there is life after sight loss, and that challenges can still be faced, I am undertaking my biggest challenge yet. In complete acceptance of my sight loss, which is inevitably going to lead to total blindness in the future, I am taking part in RNIB's The Big Jump 2019.
On the 22nd September 2019, at Cark Airfield in Flookburgh, I will be jumping out of a plane at 13,000 feet.
Family and friends are welcome to come and witness from 10:30am onwards, weather permitting. Feel free to bring a picnic!
