Remembering Richard Tellez

Well, where do I start.... There are so many reasons and so many amazing things to say about the man I'm about to share with you.

Richard Sabino Tellez was born on November 26, 1950, but it wasn't until the age of 30 years old when he gave his life to God. Then, is when he was born to be the man he was destined to be . Before my Grandfather gave his life to the Lord he lived a life of chaos as anyone could experience, but he is a true real life testimony of how God can change someone's life. He changed mine.

Richard lived his life spreading love, peace and giving. There was nothing more that he wanting than to have his family join him in church and be apart of his way of life. He believed living good and being a good righteous person was what people should follow in their lives. He was a family man, a funny man and a Superman in our eyes. His family was everything to him and he proved it by being the solid rock that kept us all together. He was a strong hard working man who made us all so very proud. He was known for being a firm believer of treating people with love no matter who they were or where they came from.

My Grandfather was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma a year and a half ago and when his liver became an issue as well, by fighting Cirrhosis, the odds were agasinst him. Although he faced these health issues, he stayed faithful to the Lord and knew that he was going to be in good hands. My Grandfather was a fighter, but it wasnt until a month ago that things took a toll on him far worse than he was strong enough for. My Grandfather went to heaven on Saturday, 4/9/2016, and by the Glory of God he was able to leave this earth in his bed at home with his family by his side. I will always tell people about what a beautiful amazing man he was. He left a legacy that will forever live on in many hearts. He was a Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, Son and a Man of God. We are proud to have had a man like my grandfather, Richard Tellez (Papa) guide us and raise us to be great like him.

Thank you for taking the time to read only a portion of the blessing this man truly was in so many lives. There is no amount of money that can bring my Grandfather back, but I do want him to be buried with dignity and grace, as he deserves. Please donate what your heart feels, we appreciate anything. God bless and Thank you again.

" The Lord was ready to save me;
Therefore we will sing my songs with
stringed instruments
All the days of our life, in the house of
the Lord."     Isaiah 38:20
