Help Kristen with an unjustified debt

Donation protected
Hello, my name is Kristen I am a 25 year old who has been enrolled in full time university studies, a Bachelor of Psychological Science and Criminology since 2021. I have always put my degree first and always applied my all to ensure the best results for myself despite whatever life has thrown at me for as long as I can remember.
I had always dreamed of making a better place of this world and in doing so I decided to undergo psychological and criminological studies. As someone who has suffered extensively with mental health problems my entire life, it only made sense to me to that this is what I wanted to do. Since a young age I have been diagnosed with clinical depression, high functioning anxiety, ODD, BPD, ADHD and CPTSD due to extensive childhood trauma and abuse. Since the beginning of my studies I was very fortunate to have my uni fees covered by Centrelink’s FEE HELP, this ensured my fees were covered until I had completed my degree as I could not afford to make any upfront payments at the time since loosing my job during COVID-19.
In 2023 I found myself re-experiencing homelessness, living in my car with my dog and two birds which was less than ideal and was an immense struggle. I had no where to go as I had no connections with friends or family at the time, no money to support myself let alone my pets, I was overwhelmed with the experience and I was working two jobs to make ends meet. During these tough times of hardship as well as suffering extreme mental and emotional distress, I made the choice to defer for 1 trimester to get back on my feet mentally and physically as well as finding some stability within my life.
Centrelink was informed of my circumstances and I had made multiple in person visits as well as phone calls keeping them up to date on my situation as they had requested, only to fast forwards to a week ago when I received a phone call from then, telling me I owe them $25,000 before the 22nd of April because I had deferred for 1 trimester due to homelessness at that time, I am now being asked to repay a years worth of FEE HELP payments. I have had to sell my car and every thing else I could to get money to be able to pay off $6000 of the debt but unfortunately I am struggling financially and mentally with the outstanding amount still due.
I am raising funds to cover the remaining costs on my tuition fees for Centrelink. I’m not a person to ask for help but I am in desperate times and this situation could affect me for the rest of my career, if the debt is not paid on time i will be un enrolled from my studies ensuring I don’t the degree I have worked so hard towards. I have continued to fight for my degree and wellbeing, we all deserve to achieve our dreams, this is mine.
I really appreciate you taking the time and reading my story and I am appreciative of all the help received. I’m just trying to make a better life for me and my little family ❤️
