Joshua's 200km this December for Cancer Research

Too many people i love are falling trap to this horrible disease. It’s time to do my bit and help make a change. My nan has beaten breast cancer twice, the second time forcing her to have a mastectomy. My grandad is in remission for myeloma, which saw him have several vertebrae removed. Too many friends have also had or are having their battles, a close family friend in Carla is in remission after stem cell treatments and transplants, a work friend in Debbie currently fighting stage 2 melanoma, a work colleagues parents are battling their cancers together. The list goes on. Cancer is working it’s way through too many people i treasure. I pledge to run 200 kilometres over December, equating to the distance between Chesterfield and Newcastle, to help in any way i can to eradicate this deadly disease, that takes away any loved one it can. In return, i ask you to please donate anything you can to fight it, the sooner we come together and pledge to help stop this, the sooner we’ll get to spend longer with our loved ones. Ambitious, but i’m training to raise £1000. If we can reach this, brilliant. If we can smash this i’ll be so happy. I will know with every stride, every kilometre, i’m helping beat Cancer.
