On September 25, 2021, our uncle, Roberto “Beto” Vigil passed away after being struck by a hit and run driver in North Hollywood, CA. Beto was a loyal Cowboys fan and we are glad he saw them win early this season. He was also a huge Cruz Azul fan. He always rooted for his teams, no matter what. Those who knew Beto, know him to be one to always crack jokes and laugh out loud.
Beto leaves behind his wife, Maria Eduwiges, and two daughters, Yunuen, 19, a sophomore at UC Irvine, and Itzel, 17, a senior at North Hollywood High School.
Our family is incredibly broken hearted as this is tragic and unexpected. Needless to say, no one is ever ready for something like this and the family needs help. Beto was the primary source of support for his family. As many expenses are coming to the family, we hope to raise money to help with funeral arrangements and other necessities that Maria Eduwiges, Yunuen and Itzel need moving forward. All money raised will be given to them directly.

El 25 de septiembre de 2021, nuestro tío, Roberto “Beto” Vigil falleció luego de ser atropellado por un conductor que se dio a la fuga en North Hollywood, CA. Beto era un fanático leal de los Cowboys y nos alegra que los haya visto ganar a principios de esta temporada. También era un gran fanático del Cruz Azul. Siempre apoyó a sus equipos, pase lo que pase. Aquellos que conocieron a Beto, saben que es alguien que siempre hacia bromas y se reía a carcajadas.
Beto deja a su esposa, Maria Eduwiges, y dos hijas, Yunuen, de 19 años, estudiante de segundo año en UC Irvine, e Itzel, de 17 años, estudiante de último año en North Hollywood High School.
Nuestra familia está increíblemente desconsolada ya que es fue trágico e inesperado. No hace falta decir que nadie está preparado para algo como esto y la familia necesita ayuda. Beto fue la principal fuente de apoyo para su familia.
