Ryuk’s Emergency Surgery

I got Ryuk as an emotional support animal for severe PTSD, depression, anxiety, and coping with a chronic pain, auto-immune disease. I’ve raised Ryuk from a baby and now she is about two years old with a life expectancy of about ten however this is quickly changing. I recently took Ryuk to the vet and she has been determined to have follicular stasis. She needs surgery soon to save her life. With my medical conditions, I nor my mother can afford this surgery as it is difficult for my mom or I to keep a job. I’m seventeen and trying to make it through school with my condition is a challenge enough. My mother is always busy trying to keep me in good health and manage doctors. Ryuk is beyond important to me and many people underestimate her simply because she has scales instead of fur. Ryuk gives me a reason to take care of myself when I feel I cannot. I know that this creature relies on me and that I must take care of myself in order to take care of her. I’m devastated and I’m struggling to find anyone in my area that will take her knowing she needs an urgent surgery.
