The Dunn Family

We are the Dunn Family,Cindy & Jimmy.

We are one of the many families displaced by the Humphreys County Floods in Waverly TN. 

First and foremost we made it out, so we do feel very blessed and lucky. Even so, we did lose everything we worked for and built for 14 years. Quite literally, this was the 3rd time we've been flooded and the first two it required lawyers due to contractor issues and we had to do it ourselves. Last year Jimmy was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. Back in July we found out that he had to start back with chemo therapy. Also I am a below the knee amputee. We haven't ever been able to have children so all we've ever had was each other. Right now, due to health and pet reasons, we've been separated with me staying in Clarksville and Jimmy in Cheatham Co to be closer to his oncologist. We just desperately want to be a family under the same roof again, especially during this chemo round and just need help to pay for getting the remains of our house torn down and help get us started toward rebuilding our lives so we can focus solely on the medical issues and getting our lives back together again for the next, and hopefully better, chapter in our lives. Every little bit adds up and gets us that much closer to being together again.
