Ryan's Leukemia Support

Donation protected
When this time of year rolls around we all know how there is more sickness and germs where ever you go. People are getting sick left and right. Well Ryan and I thought he was just sick with what everyone else had. We went to the hospital (without insurance) on September 23rd. Ryan was treated for strep. He had every symptom of strep. He felt better for about three days. Then regained his fever and aches. Weeks go by with Ryan suffering, if only I would have known how much he was suffering. He worked his laborfilled job and kept our two year old son while I was at work. Well on Sunday October 15th, Ryan woke up in miserable pain everywhere with a high heart rate, low blood pressure, and high temp. This time going to the ER they took bloodwork and test after test. The ER doctor came in to tell us that he has no factor in his white blood cells to fight off bacteria. Specialist were called and he was admitted. He was our bubble boy. We all had to wear masks so we didn't get him even sicker. After a heart racing and painful bone marrow biopsy and a two day wait. We received the news that Ryan was diagnosed with Acute T-Cell Leukemia and it was more agressive and larger than we all ever thought. We were transferred to the UT Knoxville Hospital where we are starting our long road to recovery. Chemo after Chemo. We are asking you to share his story, follow his journey and possibly be able to donate anything you can to help us keep our home, make it possible for me to be there for him and help support Ryan on this long road he has ahead of him.
