Ryan Wendt medical fund

Thank you for visiting Ryan’s Go Fund Me page. Ryan is so important to so many of us. Whether you know Ryan personally, through a friend, a family member, or someone else, it is important to our family that you get to know him even better. Ryan has always been a faithful, kind, caring, loving husband. Ryan is equally a great father, son, brother, son-in-law, a valued employee and a friend among friends. Ryan and his wife, Kelley, met at Northland Christian in Houston and later became high school sweethearts. At Northland, tall, lanky, always smiling, Ryan was a baseball and basketball athlete. Bet you didn’t know he also joined the school choir and met Kelley the first day. They graduated from Abilene Christian University. They have been married for 13 years and live in Spring, Texas. God blessed them with three handsome, blonde hair, blue eyed sons: Collin (age 5), Liam (age 4), and Tristan (age 18 months). The boys love to play with Ryan in the backyard, swings, slides and the clubhouse.

Don’t be surprised when you “GOOGLE” FAMILY MAN and the first link you find is to Ryan Wendt. He is the archetypical family man. We could use more guys like Ryan. Ryan works long and hard to provide for his family. Every day he goes to work to earn and maintain the respect of his professional colleagues and clients. At home, he is fully involved and devoted to his wife and children (except for short interruptions for televised SPURS games). Ryan bathes the boys every night and loves reading them stories before bedtime. Together, Ryan and Kelley enjoy traveling, listening to music and attending concerts. The very best times for them are when they are together, spending time with their family. When they aren’t working, they are inseparable.

On Saturday, July 8, 2017, the Wendt family was vacationing at a weekend rental beach house in Crystal Beach, Texas. The plan was to celebrate Kelley’s birthday “Fiesta Style” and have a joint “Pirate themed” birthday party for their sons, Collin and Liam. Neither of the above ever happened. The night before the party, Ryan lost his balance and fell about 14’ at the house from a wooden deck. He was unconscious. He was immediately flown by LIFE FLIGHT helicopter from the beach house to Jeanne Sealy Trauma Center in Galveston, TX. Ryan suffered a critical head injury, and a partially collapsed lung from the fall.

This family needs your help, because their fight is far from over. Please wrap them in your prayers, surround them with thoughts of light and love, hope and determination. If you are able, your donation will go directly to his wife Kelley to help ease some overwhelming medical bills and help with some essential care needed. Thank you for your love and support for this beautiful and loving family.
