Bill's cancer fight
Donation protected
My brother, Bill Stegkemper was a warrior. He was a Deputy with the Indian River County Sherrifs Department for over 25 years who inspired me to enter Law Enforcement to help citizens where and when I could so, I did, 25 plus years with the State of Florida Department of Corrections. Now I watch a warrior melt before my very eyes.
Bill was stricken by a nasty form of cancer that could not be stopped or even slowed down. Our Mother and I represent the last of our lineage and have done all we can. We are now at the endgame, Hospice and the VNA continue to assist but the costs have exceeded our means. Bill has only days left with us so I am asking, no, I am pleading, if you can help us, please do. I will ensure that the bills are paid and that the final arrangements are taken care of. Any funds left after that will be donated to the local Hospice and VNA.
Thank you for your consideration.
