Women often don't report rape. They don't tell. They don't seek justice because the back of Justice is turned to them over and over again. This happened again yesterday to the complainant in the Paddy Jackson and Stuart Olding rape trial.
There are not vast numbers of women who falsely accuse men. There are vast numbers of women who are raped and then shower and then wash clothes and tell friends and live with being raped for the rest of their lives.
The reason is this. When women go to court as the complainant in the Paddy Jackson and Stuart Olding case did .... it is a Hell. She gets no Justice. She is destroyed in court. Her lacerated and bleeding vagina is discussed at length in humiliating detail for her.... but ultimately ignored. The most intimate details of her body shared with the world. And ultimately ignored. Her pain shared. And ignored.
Her texts expressing her fears of not being believed prove true. She is not believed.
This fund is a simple one. Women know the justice system is broken. The only ones who will help women are women.
